- Work for marriage equality, ensuring same-sex loving couples the same legal protections for their families that all Marylanders enjoy 

- Uplift and support Maryland's African American transgender communities

- Educate and empower allies with varied programming on issues of concern to Maryland's black LGBTQ communities
